Welcome to Elysian Designs — where heirloom pieces are created slowly, intentionally, and often in the margins of nap time and bedtime. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to the following terms.
Elysian Designs is a small, home-based business run by a stay-at-home mama. My children come before anything else, and your patience allows me to create meaningful, hand-painted pieces without rushing the process. Thank you for supporting handmade and honoring the rhythm of real life.
Each piece is made-to-order and hand-painted with care.
• Full or partial payment is required before work begins.
• Custom and personalized items are non-refundable once work has started.
• Remaining balances must be paid before shipment or pickup.
• Prices are subject to change at any time.
If a payment plan is offered and payments are not completed, your order may be canceled without refund of prior payments.
Estimated turnaround times are provided but not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to high order volume, supply availability, family needs, illness, or unforeseen circumstances. I will always communicate clearly if timelines shift.
Rush orders must be discussed and agreed upon in advance and may include an additional fee.
If a proof is provided:
• Please review all spelling, names, and dates carefully.
• Once approved, changes may not be possible without an additional fee.
• Elysian Designs is not responsible for errors that were approved by the customer.
Because each piece is personalized and created specifically for you:
• All custom sales are final.
• Returns and exchanges are not accepted.
• If your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and product.
All artwork, designs, florals, textures, and branding created by Elysian Designs remain the intellectual property of Elysian Designs.
You are welcome to:
• Display your piece in your home
• Share photos online (credit is always appreciated)
You may not:
• Reproduce, resell, copy, scan, or commercially distribute designs
• Use artwork for business or manufacturing purposes without written permission
I reserve the right to photograph completed pieces for portfolio and marketing purposes unless requested otherwise prior to production.
By using this website, you agree not to engage in unlawful behavior, harassment, hate speech, spam, or attempts to disrupt website functionality. Access may be restricted for violations of these terms.
Please note:
• Colors may vary slightly due to screen differences.
• Wood and handmade materials may include natural imperfections that add character.
• Elysian Designs is not responsible for shipping delays once an order is in the carrier’s hands.
• Website downtime or technical errors may occasionally occur.
• Shipping rates are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated.
• Please double-check your shipping address — customers are responsible for providing accurate information.
• Once shipped, Elysian Designs is not responsible for lost or delayed packages.

Returns & Refunds
At Elysian Designs, each piece is thoughtfully hand-painted and created just for you. Because of the personalized, heirloom nature of my work, returns are handled with care and clarity.
All custom and personalized pieces are final sale.
This includes (but is not limited to):
• Hand-painted Bibles
• Growth charts
• Door hangers
• Keepsake boxes
• Easter baskets & buckets
• Name signs
• Any item customized with a name, date, verse, or specific design request
Once work has begun, orders cannot be canceled or refunded.
If a ready-to-ship, non-personalized item is eligible for return:
• Return requests must be made within 3 days of delivery.
• Items must be unused and in original condition.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Return eligibility is determined at the discretion of Elysian Designs.
I carefully package every heirloom piece, but if your item arrives damaged:
• Contact me within 48 hours of delivery.
• Include clear photos of the item and packaging.
Once reviewed, I will determine whether a replacement, repair, or partial refund is appropriate.
Please remember that each piece is handmade.
• Slight variations in brushstrokes, wood grain, texture, or color are part of the charm.
• Screen settings may cause minor color differences.
These variations are not considered defects.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all spelling, names, and dates on proofs (if provided). Elysian Designs is not responsible for errors that were approved prior to production.
